Hiroshima Day 2025
Honoring 80 Years of Memory and Hope
On August 6, 1945, the atomic bomb “Little Boy” struck Hiroshima at 8:15 am.
Around 78,000 died instantly. By the end of 1945, over 140,000 were dead due to radiation and injuries.
The surviving victims, called Hibakusha, continue to share their painful memories for peace.
Thousands gathered at Peace Park. Silence was observed at 8:15 am in remembrance.
Hiroshima’s mayor and the UN warned of growing global nuclear risks in 2025.
Students released paper cranes, pledging peace for future generations.
A Timeless Message: Never Again
Hiroshima Day is a call to action—for remembrance, for peace, for a world without nuclear weapons.
